Girls Power Math
Girls Power Math was on Saturday, January 26th, 2019. Girls Power Math was a one-day math fair for girls
with fun hands-on activities to encourage interest in math: activities included interesting topics beyond
the school curriculum, such as probability, game theory, and topology. At the end, we awarded students
who solved problems with prizes such as books and posters sponsored by Microsoft, Boeing and other companies.
We would like to thank all the attendees, volunteers, and especially our sponsors
for making the first Girls Power Math a huge success and hope the 2020 Girls Power Math will be even better!
