Elementary Math Expos
On a monthly basis during the school year, WSMA hosts an Elementary Math Expo at
a local library or community location in the King County area. These events are our
form of math outreach specific to
elementary school students.
At the expos, students learn about real-world applications of mathematics while
solving problems, working on puzzles, and playing games. Students learn from
high school volunteers and are rewarded with
prizes for their participation. The goal is to inspire young minds to pursue their
math education in middle school, high school, and beyond.
