Math Fair 2026
Join us for WSMA's annual Math Fair on March 29th, 2026, at Eastlake High School in Sammamish, WA! This is a unique event that brings together students of all ages to showcase their mathematical creativity in a fun and engaging way. Whether you're participating in the competition or just coming to explore, there's something for everyone!
About the Math Fair:
The Math Fair is a hands-on, science fair-style event where students work in teams to create and present math-related projects. This year’s theme is Structures & Systems, where participants will explore the fascinating world of how mathematical structures and systems are essential in real-world applications—ranging from engineering to architecture, computer systems, and beyond.
Competition Details:
The Math Fair will feature team competitions in two divisions:
Teams (1-4 students) will present their projects, using trifolds, posters, models, or demonstrations. We encourage creativity, as long as it fits the theme of
Structures & Systems! Awards will be given for the best projects in each division, so don't miss your chance to showcase your skills!

When: March 29th, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
How to Participate:
There are two ways to participate in the Math Fair:
- Submit a project (Grades 3-8): Form a team and submit a project that explores mathematical concepts under the theme of Structures & Systems.
- Attend without competing: Not competing? You can still enjoy browsing through projects, participating in interactive math games, and enjoying fun activities with prizes!
