Electronic Data Initiative
What we're doing
We are in the process of building a searchable, online database specifically suited
toward math club leaders. Our database aims to provide all pertinent data needed
to run a club effectively, including math problems, event details, leadership advice,
sample lessons, and any other relevant information. Our vision is that all Math
Club coaches, regardless of location, will be able to access a wide collection of
current information at their fingertips by navigating through our database. We hope
to launch our database by late 2010.
How our online database will benefit you – 3 key benefits:
- Convenience – access everything you'll need in one central location
- Knowledge – learn more about new events and coaching ideas
- Quality – tap into the wealth of groundwork successfully used by former coaches
How you can contribute
We greatly appreciate any and all contributions you may be able to make. Here are three
quick, but substantial ways in which you can help make our efforts a success:
- Spread the word to your community: your family, friends, and any others you know.
- Contribute your own resources or knowledge. We are looking for information and content ranging from
sample files and problems to coaching advice and helpful math websites.
- Support our non-profit organization, the Washington Student Math Association, through
a monetary donation. More details will be available online soon.
